Michael Dennis is a Miami native modern artist and sculptures trained under the renowned artist Puchi Noriega of Peru. He was born to Cuban and Puerto Rican American Parents. During his early years, he was inspired by culture, art, and the expression of emotion through color variation.
Michael received his Eagle Scout Award and Green Knight Award, during his teenage years, for services to his community. He currently still believes in performing service to the community. He is in the process of receiving his Associate in Arts Diploma, and has received numerous scholarships to further his education from renowned universities around the world. His plan is to receive a Doctrine in Fine Arts.
Michael was awarded the Hispanic Heritage Access Award in October 2017, and his first place awarded painting will be enshrined at Miami Dade College Kendall Campus. He was honored with publings in Miambiance Art and Literature Magazine in 2016 and 2017. He was given the distinguished Artist Award and published in the ArtAscent October 2016. He was currently asked to send his art work to Peripheral ARTeries Magazine, in London, England, for possible publication.
Michael was commissioned to paint three paintings for the Police Officer Trust Fund to be auctioned at the Law Enforcement Gala to benefit the families of fallen officers. He taught Boy Scout Troops the importance art plays in society. As a member of Visual Arts Organization (V.A.S.O.) he helped collect donations for kids with disabilities at the Miami Bliss Festival.
